A new book titled, Fen, Bog & Swamp by Pulitzer Prize winning author, Annie Proulx, inspires a deeper look into the history of peat land destruction and its role in the climate crisis. For this reason we are excited to explore what we believe the huge potential for our foams to be used as a sustainable substrate in controlled environment agriculture (CEA).

Peat, one of the main substrates used in CEA, is facing increasing sustainability challenges. The UK has announced a total ban from 2030 and Europe is moving in that direction.
